Zero Sweeps 2011 Minimoto SX Electric Race | With Video

Zero took the top 3 spots at Minimoto SX last Friday.

Rave left a comment on my last post and wanted to know the results of the 2011 Minimoto SX.

Rave, now you know, see below. It’s nice to get comment from someone besides BrammoFanHollywood ElectricsTedJames or Christian every once in a while. ;)

2011 Minimoto SX Electric Bike Class Results
1: Blake Mitchell (Zero)
2: Chris Green (Zero)
3: Jamie Lanza (Zero)

As an added bonus, below is a video showing Zero tearing up on some gassers. Kris Keefer on the Brammo collided with a Zero rider at the start of the race. You can see Keefer moving quickly but later in the race but obviously joy riding and toying with a Zero rider, Doniak. Harry over at hints that the Brammo Encite gearing was not right for the tight minimoto track.

The Brammo Encite gets its second go on the track this weekend at the Monster Energy Grand Prix.

“Harry over at hints that the Brammo Encite gearing was not right for the tight minimoto track.”

Seriously? With a 6 speed bike you’re going to try and pull the “gearing wasn’t right” excuse? The Brammo was down on power, no two ways about it, all the gears in the world won’t make up for that.

Okay, so I read but don’t participate nearly enough…

Brammo has a chance to redeem themselves in a big way this weekend on both asphalt and dirt. I don’t think we’ll be disappointed.

EnvironMoto, I knew if I named names I would forget someone! Sorry man!

Yeah, lets see what happens this weekend. I guess all 6 gears could have been too high? There is no official statement so let’s see what happens.

If Brammo thought they were down on power they would not have raced. They have owned Zero bikes. I seen Craig selling one on ebay. So they know their competition.

Jensen over at A&R posted this vid…

More discussion in the comments there. That video shows another Brammo Zero collision that seems to be Doniak’s fault. 2:30 into the vid.

At 4:42 Doniak exchanges words with Keefer. Sounded like he was having fun.

At 4:50 Doniak goes down after tagging the back wheel of a gasser. :D
