True, TTXGP has the advantage of being a first mover but FIM has been running events for a long time. As long as TTXGP holds onto the Isle Of Man event they should be fine. That will probably continue to be the premier electric mc race for a long time.

Azhar’s made his announcement on the TTXGP site http://www.egrandprix.com/news.php?id=15

Looks like it was down to the FIM, Azhar seems to suggest he was working well with them but they turned their back. Who knows though, I just hope the UK events are still ok. The Isle of Man TT gets by fine without the FIM so why shouldn’t the TTXGP?

I remember this came out during those heady days of the TTXGP when we were young and had just “met” Frank.

Thanks, yeah, can’t say I have not been inspired by ABG. Hopefully they consider it flattery. :D

Azhar was nice enough to return my email. He did not have any official comments but said they are drafting something. I hope it does not end up being a big set back for them but who’s to say Azhar did not end the agreement?

Love the graphic… you and Autobloggreen teaming up? Azhar didn’t want to comment? That just makes the story more interesting, at least for me.
